In terms of its order, the High Court ruled that when the Department of Mineral Resources effected a conversion of Sishen Iron Ore Company (Pty) Ltd’s (“SIOC”) old order mining right in 2008, SIOC was granted the exclusive right to mine at the Sishen Mine. The Court indicated that it reached this conclusion by interpreting the content of the mining right which was granted to SIOC.

法院裁定，没有其他方可以在西森矿山挖掘铁矿石或石英岩的权利。法院还审查并搁置了批准帝国王室交易权289（PTY）Ltd的权利。

判决的详细原因将在下周授予。SIOC一旦获得详细判决，将考虑法院的裁决，并在此方面需要采取任何其他步骤，并告知股东。

高等法院命令不会影响AMSA和SIOC之间的临时供应协议，该协议将持续到2012年7月31日。
